This is a WordPress search plugin.

It is usually used for automotive websites but it can also be used for printer cartridges or cellphone replacement parts stores.

Key features:
• Search box can have different number of levels (up to ten).
• Drop-down options are separated from product restrictions. So it is possible use a ready Make, Models database.
• It works as a search and as a filter on category pages (possible to disable filtering).
• Search results are indexed. So this extension doesn't spend time for searching.
• Product restrictions have simple text format. It is easy to read and to link a product to another make, model.
• CSV import / export for drop-down options and for product restrictions.

The number of levels can be different 1- 10 and you can change the titles of drop-downs.

All drop-down options should be imported from a .csv file like this:

You can create your own .csv file or purchase a ready file somewhere.

To link products to make, models you should set "product restrictions".
After installing this extension each product has a "Part Finder" section where all linked make, models are listed like this:

It is possible to import restrictions for all products from a .csv file.

After updating restrictions for some product and saving the product Part Finder results are re-indexed for that product.
Then when someone searches for some make like "Acura CL 2003" Part Finder doesn't need to search.
Because of indexing this plugin already "knows" all possible products for selected make and model.

This plugin requires WooCommerce plugin.

NOTE: Part Finder is not a PRO version of the free YMM plugin.
It is a different plugin. It uses two CSV files and has different product restriction format.

The free YMM plugin is still good if you need just one CSV file and three drop-downs.
